We're based in the Nashville, TN area, minutes from Music City's studio scene. Because the shop doubles as our bench and storage for a lot of rare, fragile gear, visits are by appointment only — set a time and we'll send you the exact address. Come By The Shop
This isn't a showroom with aisles and price tags. It's a working room where consoles get stripped and re-commissioned, 1272s get recapped, and lunchboxes get built. Set up a time and we'll put the coffee on, walk you through what's on the bench, and let you lay hands on the gear before you buy. Coming from out of town? From LA To Music City
For most of our fifty years we were based in Los Angeles, working alongside rooms like Sound City, Ocean Way, the Record Plant, Cherokee, and Blackbird, and buying, building, and servicing gear for artists and studios across the industry. When it was time for a change, the whole operation moved to Nashville — the gear, the relationships, and five decades of know-how came with us. As we like to say, we liken this business to the Mafia: once you're in, you can't get out.
Shipping & Receiving Gear
Heavy, fragile, vintage — we crate and ship it right, and we do it all the time. Consoles, racks, tube mics, and outboard leave here packed to arrive exactly the way they left, and we'll sort out freight to wherever you are. Sending gear to us for service, trade, or sale? Contact us before you ship so we can give you the correct receiving address and make sure it's packed to survive the trip.
